After a long time of expectation and anticipation, the Administration of the Congregation of the Holy Spirit, Uganda Group convoked and held a brain-storming meeting for a 5 year Strategic Plan, 2016–2020. This meeting took place on December 31st, 2015 at Daniel Brottier House, Kyebando. The main agendum of the meeting was the presentation of a framework leading to the drafting of the plan. Out of generosity, concern and unwavering support for the Congregation, Papa Elly Elias Asiku MP elect, a Professional Accountant, Administrator and Head of the Laity in Mulago Parish had prepared a working document (instrumentum Laboris). This he succinctly presented to the members who included both professed and Lay Spiritan Associates of whom he is a prominent member too.
They all greatly appreciated the presentation and the clarifications that followed thereafter in view of a result oriented SWOT analysis and evaluation. Before the end of the meeting, a committee was constituted to formulate a strategic plan following the given framework. They included; Mr. Silvano Twesigye (Chairman), Mr. JohnBosco Musisi (Secretary), Queen Victoria Acom Nalutaya, Mr. Augustine Mwendya, Ms. Jane Namusisi, Mrs. Sebunya Proscovia, Fr. Vincent Mutebi, CSSp, Fr. Damasius Kayemba, CSSp, Fr. Nicholas Kerebba CSSp, Fr. Martin Andama, CSSp and Hon. Elly Elias Asiku. This committee has been committed and equal to the task that a draft of the complete plan will be ready for presentation before the end of February.
